The Coordinator, Economic Development reports to the VP, Economic Development and Social Impact and facilitates internal and external meetings, develops systems to create efficiencies within team to improve internal infrastructure, prepares internal and external communications and serves as a liaison with team members and external partners.
In this role, you will ensure meetings and programs run efficiently, operate as a key member of the Economic Development team and support our team in executing on both corporate philanthropic and economic development initiatives to ensure program strength, continuity and execution. As an entrepreneurial teammate, you will seek out places to improve and strengthen our team’s processes, projects and our volunteerism strategy. Responsibilities include but are not limited to communicating with partners, coordinating the economic development projects alongside the VP to ensure proper handoff of projects within Shipt and external partners, supporting our internal volunteer system, and assisting with related efforts or projects as assigned.
Provide logistical support to VP and broader team
Serve as our team’s logistics and operational guru
Connect the dots and keep the internal engine of our team running
Support our internal volunteer coordination of our employee resource groups, and shopper experience teams
Coordinate and attend internal and external meetings
Prepare presentations and reports, as needed
Act as an internal and external liaison with constituents
Partner with team to draft external communications regarding our corporate philanthropy and initiatives
Ensure expenses and grants are approved on the agreed upon timeline
Manage team event calendar

Experience planning and managing projects with a community focus; economic development experience a plus
High School Diploma or GED
3+ years administrative support and/or other related experiences supporting teams
Excellent listening, oral, verbal, and written communication skills required.
Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment
Must have intermediate or higher mastery of the Microsoft Office suite of products– Experience with standard report generation, pivot tables and advanced formulas
Attention to detail skills and the ability to multitask
Strong organizational, problem solving and time management skills
Experience working with and/or working knowledge of a CRM system, a plus.
