We have a great opportunity for a collaborative and versatile Software Engineer to be an integral part of our fast-paced, agile development team.
Join us to develop Directly’s OnDemand Customer Support Platform with high technical excellence and a fantastic user experience. Alongside a high-caliber, multidisciplinary team, you will build modern and innovative solutions we are bringing into the market in close collaboration with Product, Operations, and Services.
Design, build and maintain product components for the OnDemand Platform
Work collaboratively with the Product Development team to build new features at large-scale
Partner with all functional groups to ensure that the software delivered has high quality and is easy to manage in a production environment
Own and develop large portions of the codebase, including automated unit and functional tests
Improve engineering standards, tools, and processes
Have been a Software Engineer with more than 3 years of experience building scalable, high-traffic web applications
Think about systems and services, and write high-quality code
Thrive being part of a collaborative team with diverse skill sets and backgrounds
Enjoy taking projects to successful completion involving a wide variety of technologies and systems
Hold yourself and others to a high bar when working with production systems
Are a proponent of frequent product iteration, and love seeing your products in the hands of users and customers
experience developing Customer Support SaaS technologies
familiarity with Messaging Bus technologies (i.e RabbitMQ)
experience with databases (mainly MySQL, Redis, etc.)
experience with Distributed Systems and API development and integration
experience with and enjoy start-ups and thrive in a fast-paced environment
